‘I stumbled across Sustain Nutrition whilst on another Facebook group. I loved the idea of the daily contact with a coach and the plans looked straight forward – no weighing or counting.

I started at the beginning of the school summer holidays, not ideal, but what was the point in putting it off for 6 more weeks?
The first week or so were a bit of a struggle, but once I got into the swing of things I found following the commandments easy to follow.
I still have lunches and evenings out, I found looking ahead at the menu helps me to stay on track.
A holiday abroad wasn’t so easy, I needed to be a bit more organised but I continued to follow the principles as best as I could – I had a good time and put on a couple of pounds, but I didn’t let this phase me. I got home and got straight back into it and lost the gained pounds and more in the first 2 weeks back. Before Sustain I wouldn’t of been so quick to return to my new eating habits, infact I probably wouldn’t of done at all.

Eating protein at each meal has been a game changer for me, I never feel hungry anymore – I rarely snack. I also love “Don’t sweat the small stuff”. Having a spoonful of salad cream, some salad dressing, a tangy marinade, some gravy with my roast, these small indulgences have kept my food choices interesting and on plan.
The coaching has also been so valuable (Thanks Joe Moss), helping me to consider my choices and not turning one “off-plan” meal into a complete derailment. My mindset has changed completely. The way I look at food and drink has changed completely.
When I first started, my only exercise was dog walking. After the summer holidays I joined the gym, and I try and go three times a week doing a mixture of weights HIIT and cardio. I was stupidly excited after my first treadmill run!
